THE CONCRETE ROUNDABOUT (TCR)

We were really good yesterday. The best we've played in a long, long time and it was encouraging to see some of the new players starting to find their feet. Carroll, Hendry, Evans, Maguire and Offord were all excellent. But this is just one game. One game at home against a Carlisle side who it's hard to tell how good they are. It was impressive, sure, but we were capable of that in home games last season but we would follow it up with really poor away performances.

I still have my doubts of MW, and they won't go away quickly. It's not until we start to build a run of 4 or 5 performances and results like yesterday that I'll start getting excited. It was a good start, but nothing more than that.
