It hasn't all been sweet, but when you boil it down he's always been a safe owner that you felt wouldn't lead us into financial disaster - even though it's also become evident he wouldn't be able to lead us much higher than league one.

The new owner could very well do either. It's a big gamble that could go either way.

But however it goes from now on, thanks Pete for the last 20 years.

Well done Pete but to get to the next level(s) significant investment is required.

Premier League here we come.

I would like to add my thanks.

I have criticised some of his decisions. However I have never doubted his intentions, passion and feelings for the club. Ironically, some of those who support him, will criticise his decision to sell the the club and critics will support it. I guess you can never make everyone happy.

And welcome the new owners. You have a lot to live up to.

League 2 Champions 2025/2026

A genuinely nice man who did his best. Like all of us, could make mistakes but we cannot deny he has been key in getting a great stadium and set up for us to support. If the consortium shows half the passion and energy that Pete has put in, we will be very lucky.

He can't put it back in the fucking bottle now.
