Made me laugh…….and didn’t we need to.

I was laughing the whole game.

I am really glad I went today - it was so bizarre I just dont think I'd have believed it otherwise.

The spectacle and noise as we kicked off.

The instant and abject failure of the players.

Watching Crawley completely embarass the team in every single department. Even our attempts to shithouse were weak.

The ironic chanting and mass exodus before half time.

A clueless, characterless manager just sat there as if he was warching Corrie.

The yoof gathering in the upper corner, taking off their shoes and shirts and just having fun with it.

The hilarious overkill at the end - bringing in the SAS in front of the Cowshed in full riot gear - while the front of the entire East Stand was guarded by three ball boys and one steward. Wankelman will have signed off on all of that.

Seeing aforementioned gathered yoof charging to the lower tier the moment they saw the plod deployed.

Watching Tucker and Harvie shy away to avoid the boos, only coming to the Cowshed once Dean or Gilbey were there, like the weak ladybits they are.

Witnessing seemingly normal, sane adults applaud the players despite everything they had just seen.

It was bizarre but you have to laugh.

A good and fairly accurate description of the evening.

However, PW wouldn't have signed off on how the Police deploy in response to potential public disorder.
You can blame PW for a lot of things but not that.
Also, the Feds weren't in full riot gear.

Tucker was the first to walk over to the Cowshed but was stopped by a wall of boo's and abuse.

“ Witnessing seemingly normal, sane adults applaud the players despite everything they had just seen.”

Guilty as charged but it felt like saying goodbye to most of them hopefully.
What were we? 19th in October so even making the playoffs was unlikely HOWEVER completely shocked at how the wheels came off in the last few matches.

Marschall playing at Notts County was mistake one, remember being up there in a pub when the team news came out and the whole atmosphere changed.

Conceding 3 at Harrogate and 4 at Sutton showed the inherent weakness in the team our defence was shot, we would have been better off with traditional no none sense centre backs at times you just have to clear the f*****$ ball.

The release list should be fairly short “nearly all” should do it!!!

Roll on August, Sod’s Law will be we get Crawley, Crewe or Doncaster away first match.

Think league Two will be an even poorer standard next year. Chesterfield have Money Notts County will be better then it should be the same old teams.

Bring on the euros, watching England F it up will remind us all it isn’t
just MK who can do it!!

Have a good Summer all!!!
