It is the mentality of the man.

Barrow at home - we just need to see the game out, just keep the ball for 2 minutes in the corner. Straight from our kick off after the first goal he launches it first time under no pressure to give away possession and trigger the attack that got the manager the sack. Tuesday night, 90 seconds to half time - we go in 1-0 , we lick our wounds then play not to lose the second half: we just need to stay goal side of the Crawley players in the box from that free kick and all is good . He lets his man go and the rest is history.

He cannot deal with these big moments in a game at important times. Tonight is one of those times- he needs to be dropped.

Let’s see. I think he’s a good footballer and suspect our manager feels the same. It seems that every performance of his is critically analysed much more than most of the others.

Most of his managers have thought he was good enough to play him. For me, he's not at fault for everything but does slow the play down and prefers to pump the ball up the pitch. That is the opposite of how we want to play so I just don't think he fits in the team.
