I would like to see him given a go. I actually think hes been really poor for us and showed very little quality on the ball, but I am hoping there is a player in there. Fresh start under a new gaffer and all that. I am pretty sure I read Pompey were after him last season, along with Lincoln.
We could go with Wearne. Wearne was outstanding in the Swindon game last season, which is the last time I remember seeing him lead the line. Again not had a good start this season, but apart from one or two, who has?
I mean we have Finch available (I think?) He wasn't great in the last game, albeit he was feeding off scraps. I think I would keep him on the bench for now and hope he can make an impact.
I also feel that Tommy Leigh has put very little effort in since I've seen him in the league. He looked decent against Plymouth and then anonymous ever since.
Finch probably should start as the only recognised striker and then Wearne can come on for him. Agree that Wearne was very good there against Swindon last season.
