Are there any recently retire players that have their coaching badges?

Reluctantly, we probably have to look at Sweeting now too.

Ever since the Twine golden year, recruitment has been shite.

Finally ! Teflon Sweeting finally under pressure

Because two or three on here want him out?

The squad is a step up from last season. So let's not change everything at once. MW out and see what a new gaffer can produce.

Sweeting will probably go long term when the new owners put their own man in. But for now, he is not the key issue. The head coach needs to fuck off. And that's it.

What does Sweeting actually do that a savvy manager couldn't? Can anyone answer me this? No one is saying we should be playing hoof ball, if you recruit the right manager and actually back them, then the style of play will look after itself.

It wouldn't hurt Sweeting to try and find a few good loan players whilst he's at it, that's another thing that has gone backwards.

Well he seems to be balancing the books very well, has a good reputation

I wonder if our policy will change about nicking another manager why he is still in a job at another club....

That "policy" was more about us / Winkie being tight and always wanting the cheaper option - hence the likes of Dan M, Jackson etc.

He's gone. By his own accord. Do we sound the doomsday whistle now Or the party whistle? I confirm it should be the latter.

Do you want to bring the jelly and Ice cream. I will bring the cocktail sausages on sticks and the party rings (you can not have a party without party rings).

If the initial approach was 2 weeks ago, as is being reported in some places, hopefully the club have already made a decent start on identifying a replacement.

We do of course need the RIGHT person in charge, but I really don't want us going without a manager for too long. We are already off the pace in the promotion race so we need to get are shit together pretty quickly.

It got me thinking that when he was sat in the dugout the other week (Walsall game) I have a feeling things were moving then. He will be the gaffer for now as he has been the last two times. I have no idea who would be the assistant and the coaching staff seeing as everyone has gone with Williamson. It maybe a rocky few weeks whilst we get more people in the door, but I am so happy about it and find it crazy that someone actually wanted to take Williamson off our hands.
