Can't believe what I'm reading. We were the better team against Bradford (after the first 10 mins) and played the reserves against a championship side who had some of their first team players in.
The only thing that worries me is our inability to score when teams pack their own box as it was the same problem as last season.
Otherwise let's just see where we are after 10 or so games.

Been waiting for a comment like this, absolutely spot on, far too much of an overreaction after 2 games, one against a team 2 divs above us!!

But it's not after 2 games though, is it? It's after a recurring pattern of concerning performances from the back end of last season and we've started exactly where we left off. I'm not advocating we pull the trigger just yet but people are perfectly entitled to ask questions.

Yep, Nick and AB are so far off the mark they aren’t even registering. Get with the will of the people. Williamson out.

It's a definite hangover / PTSD from how last season ended - not just these two games. The mood on here after Crawley was super low. If MW had left then I don't think many would have argued. A positive summer has reignited belief but those same old worries and red flags have resurfaced.

Of course it's too soon to make a change. But not to soon to air concerns.

It was still a positive summer. Most agree that the players we've brought in are a cut above L2 standard.
On another day we'd have beaten Bradford by a couple of goals. The game against Watford was our L2 reserves V several Championship first XI. Not sure what people expect from that game. It would have been much closer with our first team imo but we'd likely have still lost against a team 2 divisions above.

I've got no issue with people criticising MW and his style of play. It's bound to mean that we concede goals but I'm just saying that we need to put things in perspective. If we get outplayed over the next couple of league games, by all means, please wet the bed.

I wasn't disheartened with the performance against Bradford, thought it is up there with the most difficult opponents to play, home or away, on the opening day. And for the most part, our play will get results against most sides on that given day - the Watford one worried me more, "reserves" or not, it's similar worrying patterns of being dreadful out of possession and mistakes. That wasn't because Watford were 2 divisions above us, it was because we didn't know how to play properly and effectively.

For all we know, the next 5 games could be a steamroller. But Col U away is another sticky test. I'm praying for that Carlisle game

Kev feels that if MW was sacked now we'd be the fickleness fuckers in all fickledom. Moreover Kev can smell a rat, a Tooting rat, in the form of Mr Scum and his skulduggery.

We need to give him time in my opinion. New squad, which is far from complete and if I am honest, a far bigger overhaul than I expected. I think it's a positive and desperately needed.

Watched a bit of the Burnley doc last night and they started really poorly in his first season, but ended up home and dry well before the end of the season. Whilst there are obvious faults and some concerns about leaking goals, his stock isn't anywhere near low enough for his position to be under threat.

Will he be under more pressure with new owners? Yes, but let's at least give him and the team a good half dozen or so games. If we are then still seeing the same mistakes and trends, then maybe those concerns do result in something actually happening.

I do share a lot of concerns on the thread, but there's a difference between having concerns and acting on them.

Btw I think Saturday will be a really tough game.

I’m not from Kingston. You probably are, Kev Kingston has a suspicious ring to it doesn’t it?

Kev is very wary of Scum's trickology. If Kev corrects Scum with regard to the location, Kev will then be accused of being an expert of all things SW17. Therefore Kev will keep quiet.
